NEXT SATURDAY’S FIXTURE. BRIGHT PROSPECTS. The prospects for the Cambridge Trotting Club’s annual fixture to be held at Alexandra Park, Epsom, on Saturday next, are exceedingly bright and if the fine weather continues it should easily be a record meeting for the club. 1 The acceptances, which appear, on another page, are easily a record for the club, and compare very favourably with important meetings held in the centres. The acceptances, for the eight events total 150 with an average of 20 to each event, of the eight listed.; The Cambridge Cup candidates number 24 and include a wide and good representation.
