CHINESE STOWAWAYS. STARVED IN PACKING CASES(By Cable —Press Association). (Received 11 a.m.) NEW YORK, Oct. 27. The police .shadowed two well dressed Chinese escorting three packing cases of unusual size. When they were opened they disgorged three terribly emaciated Coolies who had just arrived by steamer from Singapore. One died shortly after release from starvation. The two others confessed thev had been in the boxes for a month.
