GATHERING AT TE AROHA. The ministerial members and home missionaries of the South Auckland district are holding- a fraternal gathering in Te Aroha this week. It opened this morning under the chairmanship of the Rev. A. AshcFOft, president of the conference. Business pertaining to the various circuits will be transacted, and preparatory work for the annual synod attended to. The Rev. W. .T. Elliott, who left for this gathering yesterday afternoon, will give a paper for discussion on Wednesday morning, the subject being, "The Moods and Tenses of Modern Life." It is anticipated that the field of church activity between Taumarunui and the Thames will be well represented.
