This herd has produced in the descendants of Eminent’s Fontaine (imp.) some of the greatest bntterfat. producers and sires of pro’ducers in the ' Dominion, bii-t owing to the fact that there was a* reserve On the pick of the cattle offered, bidding was not spirited. Thirty-one head' were sold at an average price of 05 guineas. sire mentioned above, a rising 5-year-old, realised 50 guineas.. A number of commissions for distant buyers were executed by Mr C. E.
