BOROUGH REVALUATION

Sir,—! make it a rule not to reply to any newspaper correspondent who does not sign his name, but will break this rule to make an explanation to "Interested."'as there appears to be some little misconception among the public as to the question of revaluation. Let me say. at the outset, that I do not propose to ask for a revaluation of the whole Borough, but only as regards the Borough endowment and Domain Board lands. The-greater part of these lands is used for grazing purposes only, and according to the present valuation the rates are two or three times the amount of the rent received. The rent from those properties is the only source of income to the Domain Board, and it is only reasonable to request the Government to make a revaluation. —I am, etc..
