COMMUNITY SINGING

ON THURSDAY NIGHT LED BY REV. JASPER CALDER Cambridge's second great public gathering lor community singing, to be held on Thursday evening next at the Town Hall, is being looked forward to with keen expectancy. The wonderful success of the first gathering has made all present on that, occasion eager for more, while many who were unable to attend that night will want to be at Thursday night's function. Special interest has been aroused by the fact that we have been fortunate in securing the services, as song leader, of the Rev. Jasper Caldor, of Auckland, who has made for himself a great reputation in that capacity in the northern city. Mr Calder will bring his bells with him, and the singing of “The Bells of St. Mary's," with bells accompaniment, will alone be worth going a long way to hear. We can confidently recommend everyone to attend Thursday night's “sing," and it is safe to predict that the Town Hall will be. packed to the doors. ■ , •
