VISIT OP 100 AUSTRALIAN BUSINESS MEN At a luncheon tendered to Mr R. E. List, president of the Taranaki Chamber of Commerce, on the occasion of his return from a visit to Australia, last week, Mr List intimated that he had made "arrangements for an excursion next March direct from New Plymouth to .Sydney, and the following year the undertaken to send direct to New Plymouth a party of one hundred leading business men to visit Taranaki and the rest of the North Island. For these trips the usual inter-colonial vessels will be employed. Going to Australia the steamer will proceed from Wellington, New Plymouth, and then to Sydney. Coming to New Zealand the route would be Sydney to New Plymouth to Wellington. An itinerary covering three weeks will be mapped out by the Sydney Millions Club and the Director of Tourist Resorts working together.
