ANNUAL MEETING ELECTION OF DIRECTORS The annual meeting of shareholders is due shortly, and shareholders are taking an active interest in the election of directors. For some time past a number of the shareholders have wished to have Mr M. Butler on their Board, but he has always refused nomination. However, his friends called a meeting on Friday last to hear Mr Butler's views on the dairy question, and at the conclusion of the meeting t Mr Butler was asked to contest the elec-*

tion for directors, to which he agreed. Meetings will be held in the different districts, at which Mr Butler will l?e present. It is proposed to visit Roto-o-rangi, Monavalc, Leamington and Hautapu next week.
