AN ENEMY MINEFIELD,
OFF THE NORTH CAPE,

WELLINGTON, Wednesday,
The Naval Adviser to the Government announces the discovery by trawlers of an enemy minefield between Cape Maria van Diemen and the North Cape, about 10 miles off the shore. Two mines were destroyed and another is believed to have been located. The search continues.
