ARRANGEMENTS AT CAMBRIDGE,

The public arc reminded in this issue that Tuesday next will be the commemoration of Anzac Day, and there will be a memorial service in the Town Hall, commencing at 2.30 p.m. The following is the order of the programme for the afternoon:— .1 Hymn. —0 God, Our Help in Ages Past.

At a meeting hold on Tuesday night of the Committee,,it was decided to ask the Cambridge Bowling Tournament Committee to suspend play during the afternoon of Tuesday, April 25th, in order that all visitors as well as local bowlers could take part in the

The ceremony is to be marked with due solemnity, and with that end in view, a number of well-known hymns, printed in leaflets, will be sung. This is the scheme mapped out by the committee, and it but requires the co-opera-etion of the people to make it a big success. Everyone is earnestly requested, therefore, to make an-effort to attend, assist, and interest themselves in the proceedings, for only by such means can an occasion of this kind be carried to a successful issue. COMMEMORATION AT OHAUPO. Following the plan adopted by Te Awamutu, thefe is to be a united meeting of the citizens of Ohaupo in the evening. Mr Bailey, chairman of the Town Board, will be in the chair. The speakers will be the Bev. Father Lynch, the Bev. G, Mortimer Jones, and the Bev. G. Mackenzie. The meeting will begin with the National Anthem, and include the Lord’s Prayer and hymns, concluding with the Doxology.
