Late Lord Strathcona

* MEMORIAL SERVICES. By Gable—Press Association—Copyright Received 9>30 a.m. London, January 26th. The memorial service to Lord Strathcona, in the Westminster, Abbey, was, largely attended. Their Majesties, Queen Alexandra, and 5 the Duke of Connaught were represented. Hon. Thomas Mackenzie and other Agents General were also present. The pall bearers included the Duke of Argyle, Lord Lansdowne, the Earl of Aberdeen, and Hon. L. courtQueen Alexandra’s wreath was autographed “In memory of the Empire’s kind benefactor.” The Commonwealth also sent a wreath. After the Abbey ceremony, the procession moved across London, the body being entered at Highgate.
