THE FORTHCOMING SHOW. ) STEWARDS APPOINTED. A meeting of the executive committee of the above association was held in the Farmers’ Clubvoom at Cambridge on Saturday. There was a good attendance, the president, Mr James Taylor, being in the chair. Judges for the various classes were nominated, the whole of those for the light and horses coming from tfie South Island. The following were appointed stewards :-r-Horses; Thoroughbreds, hacks and hunters, Messrs Wynn Brown, J. W. Fisher. A. Allen and N. Peake ; carriage and harness horses and ponies,' Messrs A. N. Macky, W. Nickle, W. Hai butt and R. Simpson; draughts, Messrs Humphrey Russell, W. A. Fisher and W. Wallace. Cattle: Receiving stewards, Messrs J. Taylor and J. Martyn; supervising steward, Mr H: H. Clark; Shorthorns, grade and fat cattle, Messrs G- M. Watt, J. S. Allen and W. R, Perkins; Holsteins and grade Holsteins, Messrs J. P. Keeley, J. Hicks, and R. All will; pedigree dairy Shorthorns, Messrs W. Orickett, j. W. Garland and W. West. Pheep : Supervising steward, Mr M. Anderson; Longwool and Romneys, Messrs R. Ferguson, T. S. Allwill, and James Thompson; Sbortwool ard fats, Messrs M. Anderson, A. Cameron and G. Vosper. Pigs: Messrs A. J. Arnold, Kelly and Atkinson. Dogs: Mr H. Wyatt. Butler, E. Allen, F. J. Brooks, J. A. Fitzgerald, J.-Ander-son, 0. W. Keeley aud George Rea 1. The publican’s booth was lot to Mr Adams at £67 10s, and he was thanked for a donation of £2 2s. Both Nos. 1 and 2 refreshment booths went to Mr Burns-Sraitb, at £l2 and £8 respectively. Ten new members were elected, and the meeting terminated.
