* EXCELLENT PROSPECTS

The twenty-first annual shofv of the Te Aroha Agricultural, Pastoral and Horticultural Association, which is to be held ou 28th and 29th inst., bids fair to eclipse all previous gatherings held on the grounds. The executive committee is working hard to make a thorough success of this year’s fixture'. The Show is to be opened on the second day, January 29th, by Mr H Poland, M.P., and the Hon. W. H. Herries, M P., has made arangements to be present. A matter of importance to the Association is that of the siding at Herriesville. The secretary has just received a telegram from the Hon. W. H. Herries to the effect that the siding will be completed by 29th inst.., and that all trains will stop there for the convenience of passen'gers. The siding will prove of great advantage to owners of stock, vehicles, implements, etc. Entries are already coining in freely for the different classes, and by the Closing date, January 20, they should form a record for the institution.
