THE TOFUA REFLOATED.
THE MATE KILLED. Suva, June 2. The Union Company’s steamer Tofua, which struck fast on a reef in the Navula Passage when steaming up to Levuka, on Wednesday last, floated off the reef last night unaided and steamed to Suva. During the refloating operations, a shocking fatality occurred, resulting in the mate being accidentally killed and the boat.wsain severely injured.
