A TERRIBLE EXPLOSION.
150 KILLED. BUILDINGS BLOWN TO ATOMS. Managua, June 3. . ** large quantity of explosives stored in the arsenal of the fortress of Salma, Nicaragua, exploded today. All the buildings in the vicinity were completely wrecked by the force of the explosion, and many of those in the neighborhood were blown t) atoms. In all one hundred and fifty pecple were killed, while many more were injured. The cause of the explosion is a complete mystery, which is never likely to be solved, as not a trace is hft of the building in which it originated, a huge hole in the earlh marking its site. a I j 10 - re * 3e^s > who have been in the held for some months but have not. been very active of late, have planned to take two provinces of Nicaragua.
