PAT STOCK MAHEKT. By Telegraph—Special to Independent. ~ Auckland, this day. . Messrs Dalgety and Co. report having held their usual weekly fat stock sale at Westfield, yesterday, as under:--Beef.—A moderate yarding. The demand was hardly as gocd as the previous sale. Choice pens of prime ox sold at equal to 24s per hundred; ordinary quality ox, at 22s to 235; cow and heifer, L2s to 245. Rough beef sold at late rates. Veal.—A moderate yarding. Heavy sold at 60s to 82s; good, 35s to 50s; otners, 3s to 15s. Mutton.-A very large yarding, including a good number of unfinished wethers. The demand was very dull, only a small number being wanted. Prices were lower than late sales. Heavy wethers sold at 18s 6d10215; guod, 17s to 18s; heavy ewes, 16s to 19s; others, 14s to 15s 6d; unfinished wethers, 14s to 16s 6d. Lamb.—A small yarding. Tegs sold up to 14s; stores 6s 6d to Bs. *l Pork.—A moderate yarding. The demand was limited, and prices were lower than late sales. Heavy pork, 29s to 365; light porkers, 18s to 235.
