THE ELTON COMEDY COMPANY.

The Elton Comedy Company gave one of their refined and versatile entertainmerits at the Alexandra Hall on Saturday evening, and also appeared again last evening. The audiences were not large, hut those present were very appreciative of the clever little company’s efforts. Miss Grace Elton (the leading lady at Cap and Gown, London, for violin, piano and cornel) is the cleverest lady performer seen here for some time, being equally at home as boy, serio, dancer, halladist, actress and musician. Miss "Winnie Rhodes is the daintiest little lady imaginable, her serio dancing, clogs and ballet being a great treat; she has just finished seven weeks with H. Rickards at the Tivoli, Sydney. Fred Meymott 'mother to Harry, the London “ star ”), is indeed a host, conjurer, comedian, actor, impressionist, and pianist; he is a multum in parVo. Fred Elton is seems to he everything and everywhere every time—(comedian, dancer, musician, pianist and feufale impersonator), he fills the ’oill on every point. The comedies “ When Jones Left Home ” (Saturday) and “The Happy Pair” (Monday) were excellently staged and dressed, while the vaudeville programme was good.
