CAUGHT IN THE ACT.
A minister walking along a brook one Sunday observed a boy fishing. After seeing him catch several fish he approached the boy and said : My boy, don’t you know it is not right to be fishing on Sunday ; and, besides, it is very cruel to insert that sharp hook into that poor beetle.” The Boy—“Oh, say, mister, dat ain t no beetle ; dat’s only an imitation bug.” Minister—“Oh, i thought it was a real bug.” Boy—(Lifting a string of fish out of the brook) “So did these supers.”
