At the Political Labour League's welcome Mr Kamsay McDonald, speaking on behalf of the British Labour movement, paid a tribute to the _ valuable lesson taught _by„Australian Laborities, in tracing the growth of the industrial system. He said in England the plutocracy they were lighting was not merely the rich class, but the vulgar class, who disregarded everything they touched; art was merely ostentatious vulgarity; whose literature was degrading; whose commercial morality was sapping the Christian conscience; whose religion was largely cant, humbug, and make believe.
