HAMILTON GUN CLUB
Last Wednesday the members of the Hamilton Gun Club spent a very pleasant afternoon at .Mr Moroney's farm, Knighton, in shooting fui Bweepstukes. The principal winners were Messrs \V. Stubbs, Blind, Goodwin, and F. C. Hand. There was the largest attendance of members ever experienced by the club, eight or nine motor ears being required to convey them to the ground. In the evening there was a merry gathering in the Waikutu Hotel for the presentation ef Mt J. M. McCarthy's cup to the winner, Mr H. Peace. Mr F. U. Hand presided, and made the presentation in felicitous terms, in the absence of the presidt.'iit, Mr J. H. Hooper, and the recipient suitably acknowledged the trophy,
