PRZEMYSL SURROUNDED

RUSSIANS RAPIDLY ADVANCING. THE INVASION OF GERMANY. Received 9.5 a.m., Ist. Rome, September 30. A telegram from Vienna states that the Russians have left Przemysl completely surrounded. Two columns are advancing rapidly along the railways of Galicia. The northern column assaulted Tamow. T he southern occupied Sanok, and advancing westwards cut off a section of the Austrians, which the Russians' northern army was driving southwards. There is every indication that the Russians do not intend to capture Cracow, but invest it in a similar way to Przemysl, advance on Bresluu and junction with the Russian centre for the invasion of Germany.
