HAMILTON RUGBY UNION
The weekly meeting of the management committee was held last evening, but not much business was transacted owing to the Winter Show. Mr J. Varney presided. The draw for the third grade teams resulted as follows: June 13th: High School v. Frankton, City a bye. June 20th: High School v. City, Frankton a bye. June 27th: Frankton v. City, High School a bye. Mr A. Newdick was appointed referee for the Hamilton-Gold/ields representative match on Saturday next. HAMILTON v. GOLDFIELDS. The following will represent Hamiltuii against the Goldfields representatives, on Saturday, at Claudelands:—Fullback, McLean: threequarters, Morris,. L. Smith, G. Mclntryo; five-eighths, Paki and Murphy; half, J. Mclntyre; wing, Johnson; forwards, Smith, Heenan, McKinnon, McKay, Devine, Clarkin, and Dunn. Emergencies: Forwards, Mclntyre and Mathieson; backs, Cramp and Castles. The following will represent the Goldfields: Fullback, Murphy; three-quarters, Flynn, W. Edwards, C. Edwards; live-eighths, A. Lennard and Wilson; half-back, E. Mooney; wing, Silcock; forwards, Lennard, F. Poland, Murphy, Young, J. Poland, E. Shaw and A. Cooper. Emergencies: Backs, J. Saunders, L. Brennan; forwards, P. Mullins, Wilkinson.
A practice of the Gordonton seniors and juniors will be held at Claudelands on Saturday next, and players are requested to turn out for a game.
