YOUTH'S MAD ACTION
FIRES AT A TRAM.
By Telegraph. Press Association. Dunedin, Friday. A young man employed in Mr J. J. Marlow's upholstery department, Princess street, caused a sensation yesteiday afternoon by firing three shet.i at a tramcar passing the premises. The police were at once sent for, and Serjeant Kidd took the man to the station. The offender appeared to believe that the people on the cars had insulted him. No damage was done, the bullets going wide. It is understood that the young man will be sent to a mental hospital.
