The Board decided yesterday that a special holiday be granted on the Ist April to schools in the Waikato and Waipa counties to enable the teachers and pupils of the schools to attend the ceremony. In those schools in Waikato and Waipa which do not take [iart in the ceremony the children will be assembled, the flag hoisted, and a lesson given on the difficulties of early settlement in New Zealand.

The installation of officers of the Hope of Frankton Kechabite Tent was conducted by Bro. J. Jebson, D.U.R., at last night's meeting. The principal chairs were filled as follows:—C.K., Bro. A. Stevenson; P.C.R., Bro J. Graham; D.K., Bro. L. Ewen; secretary, Sister Jebson. Bro. J. Jebson received the congratulation of the Tent on his election to the office of Deputy Ruler of the Auckland District, and Bro. J. Graham offered to provide a member's framed emblem for competition
