CREW STRICKEN WITH BERIBERI. Received 5.5 p.m., 22nd. London, June 21. The steamer Uskmoor reports having sighted the whaler Sound of Jura, voyaging from the Southern Pacific, helpless. Four of the crew were dead from beriberi, the rest were sick, and the topmast was broken. The steamer towed the Sound of Jura 700 miles to St. Vincent.
