THE WAIHI TROUBLE.

'1 lie executive of the New Zealand Federation of Labour concluded its deliberations yesterday, and the result will be communicated to the Waihi Miners’ Union by Mr Parry, the Waihi president, and Mr Semple, organiser, who will reach Waihi as soon as posable. Mr Semple expressed the opinion that there was a good prospect ol settling the dispute. Regarding the assurance desired by the Admiralty that its coal supplies will not he interfered with in the case of an industrial upheaval, the miners’ executive has replied that applications for coal supplies during such a period will be considered on their merits.
