Results were as follow : Flying Handicap: Clemora 1, North East 2, Sandstream a. Also started; Golden Eagle, Koran. Lehetan, Nicotine. Won by half a length. Meremere Hack Flat Handicap; Terete 1, Kina 2, Redwing 3. Also started: Mulga Bill, Toanga, Timothy, True Shot, Lady Heroine, Contralto, Valentine, Bellington, Whana, Miss Park, Emblem, Clorinda, Lady Loo, Speedy, May Stevention. Won by half a length. Whareroa Hurdles: Playmate \, Mt. Cook 2, Rumac 3. Also started; Golden Glow. Won by two lengths. Ohawe Hack Hurdles; Maggie Jane 1, Prophet 2, Kauroa 3. Also started: Waione, Anenome, Taupo, Clemency, Nero. Won by three lengths.
Egmont Cup: Milan 1, Tiptoe 2, Sir Prize 3. Also started: Swimming Belt, Astraea, Bismarck. Won by a short head. Egmont Stakes: Lord Soult 2, Polymorphous 1, Prancer 3. Also Ohlikoff, Patriotic. Won by a length.
Waipapa Hack Handicap: Redwing 1, Perollina 2, Starboard 3. Nine others started. Won by a head. The totalisator turnover was £CS6G.
