The following sums have been duly remitted by me to the director of the institution, for which I desire to express thanks, viz.—Mrs Clark 10s, Mrs Graham, Hamilton, 6s, Mrs Bell, Te Rapa, 7s 6d, collected by J. Watson, 10s; and by H. Shaw, 10s; driving fee, Is, in all £2 Is 6d. 1 shall be happy to receive and remit further Amounts, which sympathising friends usually forward at this season to the good work of rescuing the waifs. - E.
