A m eetixu of the suppliers to the local creamery was held last Tuesday, when it was decided to ask Messrs Ambury and English upon what terms they would take over the working of the local creamery and deal direct with the suppliers, instead of through the Assets Hoard as at present. Mr Massey, M.11.K. for this electorate and Leader of the Opposition, paid a visit here on Tuesday. Members of the Waitoa Road Board and settlers waited on him in connection with the Lockerbie roads, and he was supplied with information as to the requirements of the district in general.
