SALE AT MORRINSVILLE

Messrs McNicol and Co., Report : —At Morriosville on the 3rd iust., we held a sale of Assets Board's cattle stock (Shorthorn-Hereford cross) were choice quality in good condition. There was not a large attendance of the public, but those present were bent on business, and in a few minutes the lot were disposed of. realising good values. Three-year-old empty heifers £4 15s to £4 19s, 2-year-old heifers £4 6s to £4 9d, yearling heifers £4 3a, 3-year steers £3 19*, 2-year steers £4 15s to £5 12s, yearliog steers £4 3s, fat cows £5 13s to £6. Stock from other fellers sold as follows : Quiet 15 to 18-inonths heifers £3 8a to £3 17s, 2 year steers £4 153 to £5, yearling steers £3 10s. CAMBRIDGE SfOCK SALE. Sheep were penned in full numbers, prices were considerably below late quotations, yet sold well. Best wethers made up to 21s, ewes to 17s 6d, lighter . weights 12s to 15s (2000 sold). Lambs plentiful, best were from lis to 15s, others 8s to 10s (500 sold). ■ There was a good yarding of pigs, which met with steady competition, porkers selling from 28b to 38s, baconers uptoßSs, small 9s 6d to 17s tid (94 sold)._ FROZEN MEAT.
