The Waikato Annus Office. This Day. WAIHOU. SALE. Messrs MoNicol and Co. report : At Waihou yesterday 1005 outtle were yarded. Competition was dull at commencement of sale, and several pens were passed ; after the first row bidding was a good deal more spirited, and eventually a largo number were sold ; prices, however, showed a considerable decline on last sale. Two-year steer*-, £4 7s »o £4 12s 6d ; yearling to 18mouths' steers, £3 15s ; fresh empty cows, £4 10s to £4 15s; extra choice two-year dairy heifers, £4 10s to £5 ss; fresh-conditioned 3»yrar-old steers, £6 ; dairy cows, £5 10s to £8 ; dniiy heifers, £5 10s to £7 ; this season's calves, £2 ; fat cows, £5 5s to £5 15* ; fat heifers, £6 to £6 15a ; fat steers, £7 8s to £8 15a. Fat sheep, 13) to 14s; hoggets in wool, 13s ; small fat lambi, 9i to 10s.
