A CHILD PERFORMER.
(BY TELEOEAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION). Auckland, Last Night. At the Police Court to-day Margaret Boyd was charged with causing Eileen Boyd, song and dance artiste, aged nine years and two mouths, to perform in a place of public amusement. The police stated that the child had beeu performing nightly in the City Hall without a license. A plea of guilty was tendered, aud accused stated in defence that the child had gone to Wellington and had been granted a license there. The cane was adjourned to allow of enquiries being made in Wellington.
