OHAUPO.
School Committee.—A meeting of the School Committee was held oo Wednesday. A notificatiun was received from the Education Board stating that £4 5s had been placed to the credit of the Committee. A letter was received from Mr S. Brown, Secretary of the Clevedon School Committee, requesting the co-operation of this committee in supporting a resolution to the Government re having agricultural science taught in the public schools. The Secretary was authorised to reply, thanking Mr Brown for his letter, and stating that they do not see their way to take any action in the matter. The Secretary waR instructed to again draw the attention of the Board to the necessity for repairs to buildings and drainage. It was decided to clear the school ground of gorse, etc., repair the fences, and clean out the tanks. The Inspector's report was read and considered very satisfactory by the Committee. Presented 71, present G 6, and only three failed Crkamkby.—The average daily supply of milk to the creamery is now about 1000 gallons, and will boou be very much more.—(Own Correspondent).
