'KING’ MAHUTA.
(BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION), Wellington, Last Night. Mr Parata, the Southern Maori representative, states that considerable indignation exists among Southern Maoris over the gazetting of Mahula as King of the Maoris. Mr Parata will make a strong protest against this during the debate on the Address-in-Reply, and will present to the House a protest from the Southern Council.
