DEATH SENTENCES.
PENALTY FOR THREE SOVIET COOKS. RESTAURANT CUSTOMERS GIVEN BAD MEAT. LENINGRAD, September 5. Three cooks were sentenced to death for having attempted to poison restaurant customers with foul meat. Fifteen were affected, but their fate is unknown. The Court declared that malice against the Government actuated the culprits.
