RUGBY LEAGUE TOUR.
QUESTION OF INJURED MEN. SYDNEY, August 18. The managers of the Australian Rugby League team, which is on its way to England, in a wireless message from the Arawa to the Australian Board of Control, stated that Pearce, who had a leg broken in the Test at Auckland, would not be able to play on the tour, but they thought that a player to replace Pearce should not be sent. The managers added that both Gibbs and Prigg, who« were also injured in Auckland, would be fit to play at the commencement of the tour in England. The board will decide to-night whether another player will be sent.
