AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND. MR. SEMPLE URGES REVIEW. BRISBANE, August 17. Speaking at Cairns, the New Zealand Minister of Public Works (Mr. R. Semple) said: “I am more than ever convinced that the time is ripe for a review of trade relations between Australia and New Zealand, and when I return to New Zealand I intend to advise my Government to open negotiations with the Commonwealth. It is absurd to have trgde barriers between sister Dominions.”
