GALA DANCE.
TO-MORROW’S BIG ATTRACTION. A splendid night’s entertainment is promised at the gala dance to fee held to-morrow evening in the Municipal Hall, organised by the combined sports bodies and- societies of Masterton, in aid of the King George V. Health Camp Memorial fund. The dance is under the patronage of the Mayor, Mr. T. Jordan, and Mr. J. Robertson M.P. The evening has been well organised and the programme will include many novelties. Goods valued at approximately £lO have been donated for prizes. Those for the Monte Carlo competition are an amber necklace and a sucking pig. Two orchestras have been engaged, Messrs Frank Pool’s and Jack McKay’s; while the supper (buffet) arrangements are in the capable hands of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union. Those who are unable to come in fancy dress may wear elub colours or anything of a burlesque nature. Messrs A. Corekie, J. Hunter, J. Henderson, W. S. L. Dickson and J. Brad>,bury will be M’s.C.
