INFANTILE PARALYSIS.
POSITION IN THE WAIRARAPA . TWO PATIENTS DISCHARGED. No further cases of infantile paralysis were reported in the Wairarapa yesterday. There" are now twelve 1 patients in the Masterton Hospital, two negative cases, a girl of nine years of Greytown and an infant of Featherston having been discharged. All the remaining cases are reported to- be making good progress. IN OTHER CENTRES. WELLINGTON, May 3. Three positive cases of infantile paralysis were reported in Wellington to-day. They are a boy of nine from Lyall Bay, a boy of thirteen from Taranaki Street and a boy of eight from Miramar. The two suspected cases admitted to the Wellington Public Hospital on Saturday were diagnosed as negative.—(P.A.) HAMILTON, May 3. Five cases of infantile paralysis were admitted to hospital during the weekend. The total number of Waikato cases is now 30.—(P.A.)
