AIR RACE CRASH.
GRANT OF £2OOO EACH TO WIDOWS. TRUST FUND FOR CHILDREN. JOHANNESBURG, October 6. The donor of the prize-money for the Johannesburg air race, Mr. I. W. Schlesinger, is granting £2OOO fact to Mrs. Findlay and Mrs. Morgan, the widows of the victims of the fatal crash in the race. The remaining £2OOO of the prize-money is being devoted to a trust fund for the benefit of their children. Mr. Schlesinger says he is not downhearted at the result of the race, and that it will give a fillip to civil aviation.
