NO PARTY DIFFERENCES IN HOUSE. CO-OPERATION OFFERED BY OPPOSITION. MR. SAVAGE'S ASSURANCE. (By Telegraph—“ The Age” Special.) WELLINGTON, August 6. In the provision of adequate defence for the Dominion, there will be no party differences in Parliament. This was made clear in the Budget Debate in the House to-night when the Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates, on behalf of the Opposition, offered complete co-opera-tion to the Government on this question, an offer accepted with thanks by the Prime Minister, who gave an assurance that Defence questions were not being overlooked and that Cabinet was in touch with the British Government and was not leaving anything to chance.
