THE WORLD LEADERS. WALLIS MYERS’S ESTIMATE. LONDON, July 30. As the outcome of the Wimbledon and Davis Cup tournaments Wallis Myers, the “Daily Telegraph” tennis writer, ranks Perry, von Cramm, Budge, Quist and’Austin as the world’s first five. He expresses the opinion that Perry is at his zenith and von Cramm approaching it. Budge is shaping to become America’s greatest player since Tilden. Quist has the physical and moral equipment to lead the field in a year or two. He regards Henkel also as a greatly promising player.
