OLYMPIC GAMES.
CONDITION OF DOMINION REPRESENTATIVES. BERLIN, July 29. The representative of the Australian Associated Press agency reports that the New Zealander Giles joined the Australian cyclists in training to-day, Lovelock, Boot, and Matthews began training on the Olympic village track, doing mostly jogging in order to get their feet accustomed -to local conditions. Lovelock is in good health, but is slightly under his normal racing weight of 9st 71b and is drinking much milk to build up his condition. He has not decided whether he will concentrate on the 1500 or the 5000 metres, but it is yet expected that the great glamour of a 1500-metre victory will tempt him. Boot and Matthews have overcome their cinder track soreness which retarded their London training. It is a question whether they will be able to recover their form in time for the Games.
