Gibraltar reports that Spanish Government aeroplanes bombed San Roque UNCHECKED LOOTING. DESTRUCTION IN MALAGA MOROCCAN TROOPS ADVANCING. (Received Tuesday, 7.45 p.m.) LONDON, July 28. The main shopping centres of Malaga and the fashionable suburb of, Limonar were burnt to the ground. Looters are now entering shops in the side streets and demanding supplies at the revolver point. The Government having declared the cruiser Almirante Cervera a pirate ship owing to her surrender to the rebels, announces that her. crew is subject to arrest and trial in accordance with the penal code of any country capturing her. Suspense contiAues in the Balearic Islands. The Government is shelling Majorca in the hope of inducing its surrender. . ’

The Estepona casualties are 600 dead, including 400 loyalists, and 1,200 wounded. San Roque, twenty miles south west of Estepona, is still in rebel hands after the slaughter of 200 loyalists with the aid of Moorish troops. Hie victims were poorly-equipped workers’ militia. The rebels in La Linea, after annihi--lating hundreds of loyalists, themselves losing 60, shot forty prisoners in a barrack yard, including a suspected carabineer captain and sixteen men. They declare that a hundred more behind the bars will never see another morning. Fighting is now continuous, the Moroccans harrying the retreating loyalists, who are firing pinewoods in order to cover their retreat. PRESIDENT DRIVES OUT. GREETED BY POPULACE. "The Times” Madrid correspondent says that President Azana drove out after dark and was greeted everywhere by the populace, who have partly resumed the night life which is such a prominent feature of life in the capital. Trade unions have occupied the Fontalba Theatre, where an announcement states: "Here will rise from the cinders of bourgeois art a theatre of the people.”

ARMY OF REFUGEES. MURDERS BY COMMUNISTS. (Received Tuesday, 7.45 p.m.) LONDON, July 28. The " Daily Telegraph’s ” Geneva correspondent says 600 Italians and 400 Germans, with other refugees, have arrived from Barcelona. They report that several German Nazis and Italian Fascists are among those murdered by Communists. Many Italian shops were sacked. The refugees state that thirty monks were murdered at one monastery.
