SALES TO BE CONDUCTED IN PAHIATUA. The New Zealand Farmers’ Co-opera-tive Distributing Company, Ltd., who recently amalgamated their Masterton saleyards have completed arrangements for conducting stock sales in the Pahiatua saleyards and will commence selling there as from August 1. ■ Premises in Pahiatua have also been secured in Main Street where an office and store will be opened shortly and the numerous shareholders and clients in the northern Wairarapa will in future be able to conduct their business with the agency instead of having to transact their business with the Masterton branch. The extension of the Company’s ramifications should be a very useful link between the Wairarapa and the West Coast, where the company has a very large stock connection and the extra competition from the West Coast will no doubt be of direct benefit to the farmers in the Pahiatua and surrounding districts. The Pahiatua Agency will be under the direct control of the Masterton branch, with a resident Agent and office staff.
