DISTRICT SERVICES.
PRESENTATION TO MR. SYKES TO-NIGHT. As a mark of recognition of Mr. G. B. Sykes’s services to the district as Parliamentary representative for an extended period of years, a social gathering is to be held at the Eketahuna Town Hall to-night, at which a presentation is to be made to Mr. Sykes. A large attendance of residents of the district is expected. A dance and card tournament have been arranged and supper will be provided.
