FIRM MARKET IN LONDON. Prices for New Zealand butter again tended upward in London last week. The Dairy Board reports that the butter market was firm and the cheese market steady. New Zealand salted butter is quoted at 118 s to 119 s, which equals approximately 14.11 d f.0.b., compared with 115 s to 117 s in the preceding week and 92s to 93s last year. New Zealand unsalted butter is quoted at 118 s to 120 s, compared with 117 s to 118 s in the preceding week and 96s to 98s last year. New Zealand white cheese is quoted at 62s 6d to 635, which equals approximately 7.01 d f.0.b., compared with 62s to 62s 6d in the preceding week and 44s to 44s 6d last year.
