CONDEMNED MAN’S APPEAL REJECTED.
(Received Friday, 8.20 p.m.) SYDNEY, May 29.
An appeal by James Earsman, 67, pensioner, against a death sentence for murder at Gillandra to-day was dismissed by the Court of Criminal Appeals.
Cabinet to-morrow will consider the eases of five other condemned prisoners. ; j i i ><!
(The charge against Earsman related to the murder of John Hewitt; aged 94, in a hut at Gillandra on January 20.)
