TRUST ELECTION.
OFFICIAL RECOUNT COMPLETED. NO CHANGE TN POSITION. The official recount of the votes cast iin the Masterton Trust Lands Trust poll on Thursday for the ejection of three representatives was completed yesterday. No alteration is disclosed in the position of the candidates, the final figures being as follow:A. O. Jones 720; E. G. Eton, 619; C. E. Grey, 552; W. L. Butler, 536; J. L. Hughes, 493. There was only one informal vote and 1076 voters exercised their right out of a roll of about 4500. Messrs Eton and Grey insert thanks notices elsewhere in this issue.
