TO-DAY’S RUGBY.
LEADING TEAMS AT MEMORIAL PABK. PINE GAME PROMISED. A record crowd for the season is anticipated at Memorial Park this afternoon where Red Stars, leading team in the Wairarapa Rugby Union’s championship competition, will meet Old Boys, regarded by many as the most likely aspirants for this year’s premiership. Play will start at 2.30 p.m. and a fast and exciting contest should be witnessed. Both teams favour the open style of play and their speedy back-lines should provide the crowd with plenty of incident and colour. Old Boys and Red Star third grade teams will play the curtain-raiser and a first-class afternoon’s sport is assured patrons.
